Also known as “Finchley Central”, the district of Church End forms a part of the Borough of Barnet.
The name “Church End” refers to the church of Finchley, St Mary. Popular institutions include Avenue House (Finchley Society’s home), the Sternberg Centre (a cultural center for the Jewish), College Farm (Finchley’s last farm), Victoria Park, La Delivrance (“The Naked Lady” statue) etc. Victoria Park is home to the annual Finchley Carnival, which is held every July.
