We mostly apply steam cleaning or otherwise known as hot water extraction. Currently, it is probably the most effective method. Hot water with a detergent is soaked between the fibres of the textile coverings of your floor to loosen all the dirt that has accumulated there and is then removed by means of a powerful vacuum cleaner.
We guarantee that we are experienced enough to treat all kinds of fabrics, even the most delicate ones. Just call our call centre with competent support agents, answering the phones 24/7, and book our carpet cleaning service for any part of Brixton. Only with our technicians, your floors will look as if they have just been bought.
About Brixton SW2
Brixton is an area in southern London, part of the London Borough of Lambeth. It is officially covered by the SW2 postcode district. Its name is believed to be derived from Brixistan, which literally means “the stone of Brixi”. Brixi was a Saxon lord who placed a stone to mark the meeting point of the Surrey hundred.
The area’s development was marked by the opening of the Vauxhall Bridge in 1816, for it made it considerably easier for people to reach the central part of London. Between the 1860s and 1890s, Brixton was gradually turned into a middle class suburb. The area was served by a line of the London Chatham and Dover Railway, built in the 1860s. In 1880 London introduced Electric Avenue, situated in Brixton, which was its first street, lit by electricity.
Since approximately 1948, the area accommodates a large population of immigrants of African and Caribbean origins. Nowadays, Brixton is a predominantly residential with its six large housing estates. It also still houses some Victorian buildings.
Some of the famous places for entertainment around the area are the Ritzy Picturehouse, opened in 1911, and the O2 Academy, Brixton – one of the biggest music venues in London.
The area is also home to several Christian churches and a mosque.
